It has been a wonderful week as the Faculty of law celebrated their week. Amidst other departments, Law also celebrated their week. As expected it was packed with activities ranging from the visit to the Abia State House of Assembly, Law clinic consultation competition, and the prestigious Law Dinner to crown it all up. The law dinner was held at Michael Okpara auditorium, Umuahia. The Vice chancellor (represented by the Chief school librarian), Prof Anslem, Justices such as Earnest Ojukwu, renowned Barristers, members of the House of Assembly, lecturers and students alike were present at the dinner. Lectures on Law were made by guest speakers. They encouraged the students to aspire for greatness in the Legal profession. Donations were made tobtge law library and even financial donations were made. Awards of recognition were given to the invited guests and winners of the consultation competition. Then Dinner was served. It didn't didn't just end there, after the dinner there was an after party held at Eastern Comfort Hotel. Happy LAWSA WEEK!!
